Growing up in the small, rural town of Rumford, Maine, Frederick Kent learned early the values of hard work, integrity, and building meaningful relationships—principles that continue to define both his personal and professional life today.
Frederick is an accomplished medical device executive and orthopedic industry leader with more than two decades of experience driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and helping surgeons deliver exceptional patient care. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for combining entrepreneurial vision with disciplined execution, creating lasting value for physicians, healthcare systems, manufacturer partners, and patients alike.
Today, Frederick is the Co-Owner and Director of Business Development for Trilogy Medical Associates, an independent orthopedic medical device distributorship focused on total joint reconstruction, biologics, and innovative surgical solutions. He leads the company's strategic growth initiatives, oversees mergers and acquisitions opportunities, negotiates key distribution partnerships, and works alongside orthopedic surgeons and healthcare organizations to bring advanced technologies to the operating room. His mission is simple: build partnerships that improve patient outcomes while delivering exceptional service and long-term value.
Prior to founding Trilogy Medical Associates, Frederick spent nearly a decade as a Sales Team Leader with Zimmer Biomet, where he grew his territory from $8 million to more than $14 million while consistently exceeding performance goals. Earlier in his career with Biomet Holzbach, he played an instrumental role in expanding orthopedic reconstruction programs, mentoring high-performing sales teams, and developing one of the industry's most successful distributor organizations.
